Because everybody is doing it

Today was the release of .me domains. I didn’t know, but geeks told me.

They have already registered domains, so of course I surfed over to Godaddy.com and checked for Tracy.me right away. Not available. Damn! Next check. What’s cute? Let me think… hug.me! Available? OMG! *runsandgetscreditcard*.

I register hug.me, get a confirmation email. But about two hours later I get an E-Mail telling me

Error: HUG.ME: cannot register – already registered

*Sob* Ah well, I saved 25 EUROS. That’s money I don’t have at the moment anyways, so it’s all good 🙂

And now I have blogged about the .me domain – because everybody is doing it! 😉

Last exam – like, in 4eva!

Yesterday, Wednesday, July 9th 2008, 17.30 to 19.00 I wrote my LAST EXAM. I’ve completed my 32 exams in my five years of studying. I’m done – no more exams – none! nada! nix!

The exam was about “business start-up”. There’s no money in Cartography, so… let’s just open our own company 🙂

I can’t wait to get my grades on July 31st to see what my GPA will be. It won’t be my final GPA seeing my thesis will count 1/3rd, but still.

Aaahhh…. now it’s only my thesis I need to complete (only… haha).

I still haven’t realized that it was my last exam yesterday. Wow. Too bad I’ll first be done with my thesis in maybe January 🙁

Oh well, Lover and I will be gone for the weekend. We’re leaving today to visit his family, tomorrow it’s his birthday (30 *cries*) with a lot of friends and I’m excited. Next week I’ll start working full time on my thesis again – and oh, the movie-project for our uni has to be completed as well.

Movies I loved as a kid Pt. I

My girl

How much I loved this movie. I first saw this movie when I was about the age of Vada. I then wanted to be just like her – I dressed like her, acted like her, I made my German friend sing “I told the witchdoctor that I’m in love with you u-u-u-uh…” with me while riding our bikes.

Casper

I thought Casper was a really nice and sad movie. Especially the end, when the deceased mom comes back as a ghost herself. Casper turning into Devon Sawa and walking down the stairs was my favorite scene 🙂

Homeward Bound

Two dogs named Chance and Shadow and a cat named Sassy are left behind when the family that owns them goes on vacation. They are not sure what happened and therefore they have to find the family. An incredible journey is what is next.

Now and Then

How much I would have loved it, if I had friends like that to do things like that. Crazy activities, fun, first love, first kiss… and still be friends when you grow up. What a dream. Very adorable movie which made me sing “Sugar….. oh honey honey” every day.

Black Beauty

In this movie I first noticed the music of Danny Elfman. I named my male rabbit Ginger, after Ginger, the female horse. I cried a lot during this movie, I loved it though. I always wanted a horse like Black Beauty.

He’ll be thirty!

I’m talking about the Lover, it’s his 30th birthday on July 11th.
Now, I know what to get him for unpersonal gifts((not going to mention them here, although he never reads my blog, I bet, this time he will)), but what personal gift should I make him?

I could give him a blow job, sure, but that’ll be over in… 60 minutes, so… not a good choice.
I could take him out to eat – but I don’t have the money for a luxury dinner.
I could spend a night with him in a nice hotel in a different city, but same problem as above.
I could cook him something, but we’re spending the weekend at his parent’s place, so, no.
I could dress up all sexy (and not wear my “grandma panties” – how he calls them), but same problem as above.

Any ideas for a personal-y gift?

Oh Sundays

My typical Sunday looks something like this:

Sleep in
After sleeping in just staying in bed, because you can
Get up, drink a cup of coffee, with milk and one spoon of sugar
Go online and browse random sites
Eat a nice breakfast
Maybe do some sports
Lie in bed, watching TV or listening to music
Eat dinner with the Lover

Today I’m driving out to my parent’s. I haven’t seen my dad in ages.
A very relaxed Sunday. It was a very relaxed weekend all in all, I did NOTHING.

Thanks to Sarai and her little list of what to blog about, I’m blogging again 🙂 (today at least). I really have some sort of block at the moment, I have no idea what to write about, although my days are super busy and filled with ton of things to blog about – I’m just not in the mood.
