Year 2008 Resolutions
I don’t make resolutions. Like the lovely Amanda stated:
“I don’t normally believe in making resolutions in the new year, if only because if one wants to significantly change or improve one’s life, it’s something that should be thought about and implemented every single day of the year, not simply on the first day of a year.”
Very nicely said.
That’s my opinion as well. I have so many good resolutions which I resolve throughout the year, I don’t need a January 1st 20**.
I do have quite some plans/projects in 2008:
- I’m turning 26 – in 19 days 🙁
- I’m writing my last exams starting on January 28 – hoping to get all A’s
- I’m starting my thesis on February 18
- I’m working on a movie project for The Bavarian Broadcas about my Uni
- I’m working on a project with Wikis and Podcasting for Apple Germany
- I hope I’ll be done with my thesis by the end of September
- I hope to be a graduate Engineer by October
- I hope to get a job in the Remote Sensing area this year
Actually a pretty busy year is ahead of me and I can’t wait to “attend” the challenge. (Is that how you say it?)
2008 also brings some changes for Germany:
- respirable dust badge for big cities
- no-smoking in ALL the restaurants
- …
Happy new year everyone 😀
