Why do I blog?
Good question. The only person to ask me that was my mom, because she is concerned that I’ll meet creepy sex murders online who’ll stalk and eventually kill me. I tried to explain to her that on forums and through my site I’ve met great people, but I’m pretty sure she can’t understand and thinks everybody who knows a little about me through my site is a stalker and sex murder as well 😛
Anyways… I blog because I like to?
I blog because sometimes I’m so pissed I need to let the world know how angry I am.
I blog because sometimes I’m so happy that I need to let the world know as well.
I blog because I know some great people read what I write and I want to keep in touch with them.
I blog because I’ve met some great people because, just like Bubs wrote, my blogs at times reflect who and how I am and some people can relate to me?
I blog because it makes me happy to see comments from people sharing their opinion on my posts.
So… now I need to name three people who should blog about why they blog?

Oh crap, I got tagged. Haha 😛 I’ll blog about why I blog tomorrow, because I just wrote and published an entry.
Gotta love parents. I think to sum up the jist of what you said, most people blog to share things with others or they just perceive blogging as an outlet, however, one less personal than a journal or diary.
ROFL my mom thinks the same thing too! And my dad doesn’t understand why I’d spend so much time on a site that doesn’t make money LOLOL

My parents don’t even know that I have a blog, and it wouldn’t really be too good if they knew – god knows what they’d think of me…
But they also know that i’ve met a lot of nice people through the internet (some of which they even have met themselves), so I guess they won’t have to worry about that part anymore…
