I was wrong?

Quite busy with class and studying and seminar papers and presentations and other things.

The first group of my print media and cartography class held their speeches yesterday. It was a disaster, at least by some people. You’d think they never held a speech in their lives. Yesterday about 10 people held speeches and we were sitting there for five hours! Next weeks there are 22 people!!!!!! Lol, we’re never going to get done. Also not until 10pm, which is when the building closes.

It surprises me everytime, how easily someone is deceived in other people – like me.

I came into this semester with people looking and also acting like total jerks and dumbasses and I’ve been prejudice. Not only me, but I’m not blaming others 🙂

Well, yesterday, during “speech-day” the boyfriend (who studies with me) and I sat in the cafeteria and about 4 people from the semester came and sat next to us. We’ve been talking shit over two of them the last few weeks, and those two turn out to be actually totally ok and nice. Ok, they still act like they know everything during class, but they were nice and friendly and the boyfriend and I were just shocked. We were sitting there saying “Damn, we were wrong”

Oh well, the first impression doesn’t always count, only when you’re applying for a job, seeing that’s on what they decide on if they take you or not 😀

Today’s excursion day again. I like going hiking, going into botanical gardens etc, but not when it’s RAINING! Seriously, it’s been the best weather the last weeks and today it’s RAINING!!! It’s still warm though, so eh.. I’ll see what I’ll wear/not wear.

Uh, I’ll take pictures, and next time, when I don’t know what to write or when I’m just too lazy, I’ll post interesting pictures of stones and dirt 😀

Human Race again

I’m sorry that I keep on posting about the library in almost every entry I make, but hey, it’s study time now and people there annoy me most. And when I’m annoyed, I bitch. And I bitch, because the behavior of some people is totally inapprehensible to me.

At the library, a rule of the house is, no cellphone in the reading room. Yet 80% of those students take their cellphone.
Everything in that library is free, you have to pay nothing for anything and I find it obnoxious that the students have so less respect for the 3 house rules the library has.

The thing I love most about those “I can’t survive without a cellphone people” is, that they also don’t respect the other people studying, reading or whatelse they’re doing in the reading-hall. And they’re just plain stupid, think that when they go somewhere in between the huge amount of book shelves, that nobody will hear them.
ERRRR – Wrong answer!

Yesterday the funniest thing happened. A couple had to discuss their Relationship Problems in the library. In the reading room. Of course, in between the book shelves – doh! Isn’t that funny? It’s so funny it’s freaking ridiculous – come on, don’t disgrace yourself!!

WORLDCUP 2006 – starting today.
After class the boyfriend and I might drive to the Allianz Arena, the stadium. Just for the heck of it.

Is Ballack playing for Germany or not? Yesterday at 11pm they said no, yesterday at 0am they said yes. I just hope my big Crush Ballack is playing 😛

GO GERMANY

The others said

Yesterday I went on an excursion with my Geography class. Very nice, considering it was raining like crazy ¾ of the time. We went to the Botanical Garden. It sure was very pretty to see all the trees and flowers and plants, and if the weather would have been nice I would have taken a whole bunch of pictures.

I did take a few though…
My old mates from the sixth semester said this: Nooo, the prof doesn’t check if you’re there or not.Well, he did. And I’m soo sick from hearing “The others said”. For three years now it has always been “I heard from that person, who already wrote the math exam by this prof, that it’s so easy” – Why did half of the people in my class flunk then? It wasn’t easy.I’m sick of all the people panicing because They heard from some person, that…. I try to not listen, experience for myself. You can’t trus the others anyways, everybody has to fight for oneself.Yesterday we had a “Women-night” – my mom, my two sisters and me. Oh, and my little nephew Leo of course. And we ordered Sushi ? ? As so often, our eyes were bigger than our hunger, so now I have nine inside-out-makis in my fridge.Alex and I are going to have a lovely dinner tonight 😉

I talked with my mom about an article I read in some Uni-Magazine. The German value-added tax is going to rise up to 19 percent next year. Which is quite horrible. Since we have the Euro, things are so damn expensive. I can’t even imagine things getting more expensive. Germany’s economy for the.. let’s say last 30 years has been great. And now our generation has to pay for the mistakes the politicians made back then. You can just shake your head and sigh.

Tomorrow, Saturday, June 2nd, I’m going to start studying. This time has come again… it feels like I just studied yesterday for my last exams. So I guess I’ll be at the library tomorrow at 9am latest. I have no idea how full it is going to be, and if it is going to be full, then 9am is the latest you can get there, otherwise you won’t get one of the 500 places to study. I just read an article how the libraries are turning in to a catwalk – HA! That’s what I was telling my boyfriend last year already. Come on, girls in high heels, perfectly dressed, makeup, hair all nice, on a Sunday at 8am at a library. It makes me want to vomit. I hate it. Oh well, if it makes them happy.. the guys aren’t way better anyways. It’s funny, that within the years at studying at the library, you can tell exactly what a person studies. You can smell the law-students from miles away already.. how ironical.

Ah, I ordered a magazine over internet yesterday, GEO, dedicated to Sigmund Freud. No, I can’t miss that. I’m still reading his Biographie, and I’m at a chaper which tells about his Interpretation of Dreams. His opinion and statements are so absolutely amazing, they’re so wacky, you’d never think about it. What a crazy yet interesting and amazing man. :)It must have been great to live in the early 20th century. All those interesting people, containing Einstein, Rachmaninoff etc etc etc.History repeats itself, let’s hope that wizards are going to be repeated as well.

What’s bigger than god,
more evil than the devil,
the poor have it,
the rich need it,
and when you eat it, you’ll die.

Class and such

Man, I’m kinda proud of me 🙂 With class and exams, I said to me “I’ll start studying in June”. June begins on Thursday, ok, I won’t have time then, seeing we have an excursion with Geography until about 6pm, but I’ll start friday. Any I’m proud because I’ve typed everything from the three classes where I have exams, what I have written in class, into MS Word (I find it easier to study from a typed paper). Well, I’ve typed everything in law and technology and calculation, for the map-grid-projection there are so many drawings and so much math, that it’s impossible to convert that into “Word-language”. I’m also almost finished with my seminar paper in remote-sensing, making geometric corrections of Spot and Landsat scenes. Also my speech about Plasmadisplays is coming along quite well. I’m surprised of myself 😉 When you have to work with a new software, it’s hard at first. Same with Photoshop, I didn’t know crap when I started.. and look at me know, I can already open a file.. haha 😀

I put my Mini James into the Internet yesterday 🙁 It wasn’t easy for me, I must say. Allthough a car is only a luxury object, I still take it into my heart. The price is quite high, that’s because I put my whole savings into him (and now, seeing I have no savings anymore, I’m selling him.. great). Let’s see if people will call.

Class, photogrammetry, will start in an hour. I’m sitting here with my second cup of coffee which has way too much sugar, and enjoying my “free-time” where I can come online. Actually I should do things for class, but I’m quite lazy in the mornings 😉

Neglecting

New domain, new site, new neglecting.

I’m thinking of creating themes, allthough I swore I’d always stick to skinning. But themes just seem so much more time-saving.

It’s a holiday, Ascension Thursday, and the streets of Munich are empty. It’s wonderful, sitting on the bike, riding through Munich, not needing to worry that a car-driver will hit you here, that a pedestrian will run infront of your bike there. When I’m on my bike, I hate the motorist and the walkers, when I’m in my car, I hate the bikers, when I’m a pedestrian, I hate the motorists and the bikers. Kinda moronic.

I shall do things for classes this weekend. Preparing the speech about Plasmascreens, writing things down for law, technology, calculation and map-grid-projections.

I’m lucky to have a job like babysitting. Babies don’t have symptoms of the damaged world.. yet. It’s nice to know you can amuse them just with your presence. They stare at you for half an hour and you just wonder what for thoughts are running through their little brain. Her name is Isabelle, she’s five months old, a Sagittarius, big blue eyes and an adorable smile. When you spend time with a baby, all depressions you seem to suffer from this world, fly away. Wonderful!

Theoretically I’m in the sixth semester, but practically I’m in the fourth. I worked the last year and deferred a few exams, which is making me a fourth-semestler. Not only me, some other fellow students as well. Fourth semester, meaning, people I don’t know and people who don’t know me. Most of them are youngish, have started studying right after graduating from High school. It seems some of them never learned to talk, it’s odd, scary and sad. Makes me shake my head. There’s this one girl, VERY smart, she thinks, can’t say thank you when you hold her the door open. Never says a word to us, us sixth semestlers. And the wonder happened on wednesday, she said “good bye” to me, loud and clear. I was shocked and asked myself if I believe in wonders…
